Trusting the Process

June 6, 2018

When things don't go as planned, you're always faced with two options, roll over and be defeated or persevere, I absolutely chose the latter. Not to get all preachy, but the bible tells us to be still and know that He is God; and that is exactly what I intend to do.

I've always been the type to have a plan, for everything. I taught myself to ride a bike, finessed my way into a full-tuition scholarship and had a job in my desired field. I told myself that if I worked hard and was a decent enough human being, I would get whatever I wanted. And although I didn't necessarily love my last job, I had a PLAN to interview around, get my business off the ground and leave when I was good and damn well ready. God had other plans. But I knew better than to question it, instead all you can do is

Move out of your own way and let God do his thing.

I don't know what the future holds. but it is my responsibility to do well with what I was given and trust in the process. God is in control.
