Don't Text, Date.
THURSDAY MAY 31
While I’m empathetic and supportive of feminist values, being that I am one myself. I still hold certain values when it comes to dating. For instance, the courting process.
“I DO NOT AND WILL NOT EVER BELIEVE IT IS THE WOMAN’S JOB TO COURT A MAN.”
In this growing digital age, I still don’t think texting or even calling can take the place of a real face-to-face date. Just because you get a “Good morning Beautiful” text does not necessarily mean he’s interested, but a text asking what your availability is for the week portrays a little more effort and a little less fuckboy.
Don’t settle for less, Sis. If he’s not actively pursuing a date, someone else will. There are plenty of men out here who understand the importance of the PROCESS of getting to know a woman. Dates don’t have to be expensive, they should be thoughtful. And when you start to demand more and tolerate less, you’ll attract the type of man you deserve.
